Victoria's story

Victoria is a married woman, aged 30 years. She has three children, two of whom attend school. Victoria owns a house that has no electricity or piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees. Victoria operates a vegetable stall, selling from her home to her neighbours and passersby. She faces stiff competition from other vegetable operators in her business. With the Kshs 20,000 loan she wants to purchase sacks of tomatoes, potatoes, fruits and green vegetables to sell.
