A loan of $800 helped buy bags of charcoal.

Akoffa's story

A home-based retailer of charcoal, Akoffa is a young 29-year-old woman. Her spouse is an electrician and they care for two children. The eldest is six years old and attends school. As for the youngest two-year-old, he stays at home with his mother.

In the business for three years, Akoffa buys in Lomé and the interior, and distributes to customers from other areas of the city of Lomé.

Lacking funds to buy more goods, She is seeking a first credit loan from WAGES to bolster her stock of merchandise. Her wish is to initiate another complementary activity and provide a good education for her family.
