A loan of $800 helped to plant yucca.

Juan's story

Juan is twenty-four years old and has one son who is three years old. He makes a living in agriculture, planting a variety of vegetables like potatoes, yucca, and corn on his plot of land, which is located in the community of Villa Esperanza.

Juan learned this trade from his father, who was also a farmer. He helps his father with the planting, and so, since he was a little boy, Juan has been a farmer.

This loan is his first sequence within the institution. Juan is going to use the loan to plant yucca; this includes preparing the land. His reason for requesting this loan is to obtain the resources for the planting and to be able to survive. He will use the benefits to improve his quality of life.

Juan is a young, responsible, and hardworking person, and he feels thankful to the institution for the offered support; this is the only activity that allows him to support himself.
