A loan of $375 helped to buy fabric.

Salustiana's story

Salustiana, 41, is married and has school-age children. She has been working making clothes for several years and also makes backpacks and tote bags. Her workshop is located at home which is in the La Bautista zone.

This loan is her first sequence in the institution and Salustiana will use it to buy fabric to manufacture backpacks at wholesale. The reason for requesting this loan is to increase investment capital because she delivers the finished products to various street fairs in the cities of El Alto and La Paz.

The business challenge Salustiana faces is increasing income; she will use profits to buy sewing supplies to make good quality clothes in order to get more customer orders. Salustiana is a very hardworking woman who feels happy and grateful to the institution for the support provided.
