Farming inputs will be delivered to him on credit consisting of the necessary materials to plant ½ an acre of Sweet Potato, millet and sorghum. David is a new One Acre Fund farmer and is excited for the 2013 Long Rains season. David described his harvest last year as good, but hopes he can have an even better one as a One Acre Fund farmer. He hopes that his profits from the 2013 Long Rains season can be used to send his children to school and save for the future. During the 2013 Long Rains season, each group member will receive ½ an acre of agricultural inputs on credit. David’s group will receive 10 acres worth of inputs on credit.
