Sakti Radharani Self Help Group's story

Rebati is a 35-year-old married woman who lives with her husband and two children in a small village in Odisha, India. All her children are attending school. She started a photo studio in a good location in the market in her village with the help of her husband 10 years ago. She earns 7,000 INR per month and has been trying to help her husband financially in managing the family's cash flow.

She provides a variety of services like digital passport size photographs, full sized photographs and video shoots for various auspicious ceremonies like weddings and other functions in the village. She says that showing people beautiful, happy and being part of their happy moments to provide those memories is what she likes the most about her work. She has earned a good name for her studio through her quality work. She has requested a loan to purchase batteries, a tripod, and a camera for her shop.

Rebati, along with her group Sakti Radharani Self Help Group, has applied for a loan of 160,000 INR. She has eight members in her group and all are engaged in different kinds of activities.
