Burmakan's story

Burmakan is a 45-year-old widow. Burmakan has a high school education, but by nature she is a very quiet and economical woman.

As a main source of income for her family, Burmakan since 2001 has been engaged in raising animals and crops, starting with a sum of 50,000 KGS. Through hard work, Burmakan today has two heads of cattle and eight heads of sheep. Her monthly income is about 7,000 som. In order to further expand her business, Burmakan turned to Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 65,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock.

Burmakan plans to invest income from the loan to further increase her business by expanding her farm, and the following year to make repairs and to marry off her son.
