A loan of $350 helped to purchase chicks, feed and vitamins in order to increase the number of chickens she raises.

Cecilia's story

Cecilia is single and has two children, one of whom is still studying. She lives in her father's house and doesn't support anyone else. She's a merchant and runs her own business selling broiler chickens. With the current loan she intends to purchase chicks, feed and vitamins in order to increase the number of chickens she raises. She thinks of someday building a store in her house. For that reason she pledges to repay the loan as scheduled, so she can request more loans from Hluvuku. The challenge she faces is gathering all the supplies to build the store.
