Boris is 55-years-old and lives in Lchashen village in the Gegharkunik area with his wife. His children are married and live separately from their parents. Boris is a cook and for many years has worked in some catering facility. In 1998 he launched his own business. He provides services for funeral rituals and different ceremonies. He has rented a building where he performs his activities. He is pleased, as this brings him more income. He is also engaged in animal-husbandry. Boris’s wife helps him with the animal breeding.

Now Boris is requesting a loan to add to the number of chairs and tables, and do some repair work to his building. Boris says that since 1998 the building has never been repaired and in order to increase the number of clients and special orders he must do some repair work. Now he wants to replace his chairs and tables, and create more comfortable and modern conditions for his clients.
