A loan of $1,450 helped to purchase building and insulation materials.

Gantulga's story

Mr. Gantulga, 40 years old, lives with his family in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. The family resides in their own house on fenced land. His wife has been working as an auditor at a private business entity. He himself has been working as a serviceman for five years.

The house the family lives in has deteriorated over the years and needs some serious repair, so he is requesting a loan of 2,000,000 MNT (Mongolian tugriks) to purchase building and insulation materials such as wallpaper, paints, fiberglass and foams. As a result, the family can live in a comfortable and warm place. More importantly, due to the renovated and insulated house, the family will burn less coal, thus contributing to the efforts against air pollution by emitting less smoke. The borrower is a very hardworking individual who strives for a better future.
