A loan helped to connect his house to central sewer (water) system.

Boldbaatar's story

Mr. Boldbaatar, 37 years old, lives with his family in Ulaanbaatar, capital city of Mongolia. Last year in July, he began building his own house and in October, the family moved to their newly built house. His wife has a position of teacher at high school and recently has taken her maternity leave. He, together with his colleagues, has been making interior decoration work to local customers since 2009.

The family purchases water at a high price due to their house not being connected with the central sewer (water) system and burn lot of coal in order to warm up cold water for shower and consumption. So he is requesting a loan of 6,800,000 MNT to connect his house to the central sewer (water) system. As a result, the family will have access to clean drinking water. More importantly, the family won't need to burn coal in order to warm up cold water thus contributing to the efforts against air pollution and energy efficiency. The borrower is a very hardworking individual who strives for a better future.
