A loan of $600 helped to buy sand and wood chips.

Rosalin's story

Rosalin, 29, is single and has lived with her parents and siblings since birth. She is engaged principally in the manufacture of bricks in her parents' factory, which is located in the upper part of town, where she goes to work every morning. "I have to prepare the soil, then fill the molds, then take them to the oven to burn at a high temperature until they are ready," she says. In the summer she has to make the most of the sun in order to ensure maximum earnings. She sells the finished bricks in an area market, where regular customers buy each week. She wants to work as much as possible right now since there are more buyers and better production in summer months.

Rosalin is requesting $600 (S/.1500) to purchase sand and wood chips, which are used in the manufacture of bricks. She promises to be punctual in making loan payments.
