A loan of $600 helped to buy wood.

Waldir's story

Waldir, age 25, is a single father who lives with his daughter and younger sister in his parents' home. He sells wood, making periodical sales in the capital where he has buyers. He sometimes delivers wood to businesses. He has had this business for about two years. He also has a mechanic's shop for small vehicles in his home. He has had this shop for one year.
He enjoys his business because it allows him to have an income to cover his household costs, as well as the education costs of his small daughter. She is his motivation to keep moving forward. It is profitable to sell wood. He has plans to increase sales volume and expand his mechanic's workshop. This is his third loan with Kiva, and he is very grateful for the financial support that he receives to meet his goals. He is now requesting 15000 soles for the purchase of wood for his pending orders. He will also buy some work tools for his mechanic's shop.
