A loan of $575 helped buy a new cart.

Robinson's story

32-year old Robinsón lives in the municipality of Sonsón, Colombia, with his wife and three young children. Because of financial difficulties and few job opportunities, Robinsón decided to open his own business and earn his living transporting agricultural supplies in a cart that he inherited from his father.

He says that his horse has become his best friend and the source of the income he uses to support his family. For this reason he looks after the horse as if it were a member of his family. He knows that a horse is a creature with feelings just like a human being.

Currently Robinsón has had to stop work as the cart has broken down due to overuse, so he is seeking a loan to buy a new one and restart his business. His greatest dream is to be able to guarantee his children a better standard of living and a good education.
