A loan of $5,350 helped to purchase materials to meet the demand of her company's large contracts.

Martha's story

This loan will help Martha purchase materials to supply her large contracts with the United Nations Development Program. While living in Colombia, Martha managed her own trade company that shipped Columbian products to international markets. After moving to the U.S. in 2001, Martha wanted to continue her career working in international trade. In 2006, Martha began G & V Distribution Corp, a company that markets and exports technology products—including electronics, office equipment, and communications devices, as well as health and beauty products. Additionally, Martha is now working closely with the United Nations Development Program to supply electronic goods to Latin America. Martha’s company supports her two daughters and husband – both living with her in Winter Springs, FL, as well as her mother who lives in Venezuela. This loan will help Martha to complete her large orders from the United Nations program and will help her grow her company across Latin America.
