A loan of $475 helped to purchase stocks like canned goods, soft-drinks, and snack foods to sell in her general store.

Felicima's story

Felicima is 54 years old and married, with six children. Felicima works hard to provide for her family. She runs a general store in the Philippines and requested a PHP 19,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to purchase stocks like canned goods, soft-drinks, and snack foods to sell in her general store. Felicima has borrowed and paid six loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the general store for 20 years and also earns additional income from raising pigs. Felicima aspires to save enough money, so she could afford to send her children to college.
