Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $200 helped to purchase merchandise.

Bacley Tatiana's story

Bacley is a 27 year old woman, married, and the mother of three children. She owns and manages a booth where she sells food (peanuts, onions, rice, refined palm oil, etc.). Bacley has been running her booth in a district of the city for the past year and a half.

This loan will allow her to increase her stock of merchandise with the aim of increasing her sales and income. The income Bacley generates with her loan will enable her to expand her business through product diversification. She will also be able to help pay for her children's education.
