Fozia's story

Mrs Fozia is a 37-year-old lady who enjoys doing the work of hand embroidery; she started doing this work with her daughters. Her embroidery patterns are very popular in her territory. Due to increasing demand for her embroidery designs, she is fostering other women in her business. Her husband is not in a good physical shape to support her family, so she is motivated to provide her family with the basic necessities of life, including food, clothes and education.

In order to satisfy the orders of her customers on time, she needs to engage some more women. For this reason, she requested a loan of Rs. 25,000 from Kashf Foundation. In this way, she can manage to buy more frames, needles, and thread of different colors, which will help in generating more income. She hopes to have a good experience with this new loan.
