Lawrence is a 42-year-old married man with eight children living in Kasese, Uganda. For seventeen years now he has been a teacher and he was inspired into service by his desire to nurture young people. To supplement his low salary he practices farming and grows mainly food crops and sells the surplus. Price fluctuation and unpredictable weather conditions affect his crops while his dream is to expand his agricultural practices. Lawrence intends to use the loan to buy land for farming.
