Dam S. M., 32, is married and lives with her four children, two of whom are employed while the other two are students. She and her husband are farmers who together earn around $3 each day growing yams, beans and peppers. To get more output in the near future, this couple would like to obtain a loan from Kiva to purchase good quality seed and hire some workers to help plant the crops.
KREDIT Microfinance Institution Plc., is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia.
