Evelyn's story

Evelyn is 58 years old and a widow with two children. Evelyn works hard to provide for her family. She runs a buy-and-sell charcoal business in the Philippines and has requested a PHP 25,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to purchase additional sacks of charcoal to sell. Evelyn has borrowed and paid 20 loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the buy-and-sell charcoal business for ten years and also earns an income from raising pigs and poultry. Evelyn aspires to build and expand her business, to secure the future of her family.
