William is a 32-year-old man who lives in the city of Pisco with his wife and three small children, whom he loves very much and who are his main reason for living. He is a very friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic person. He and his wife dedicate all of their efforts to providing a better life for their family.

Unfortunately, due to lack of financial resources, he had to work from the time he was very young, so he was not able to pursue the degree in accounting that he had wished for. In his free time he likes to watch television, and sometimes he cooks the delicacy Carapulcra con Sopa Seca (a dish made with chicken, pork and noodles) to share with his family.

On his own initiative, with much sacrifice and dedication, William works with his wife in a small business selling spices and condiments. He also rents a motorcycle taxi to provide transportation services. He works every day for approximately 11 hours. He believes that things are going well thanks to his responsible work ethic and the friendly service that he provides to his customers.

William is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, since thanks to their help he will be able to purchase a small stand in the central market of his city. In this way he will be able to reach a larger number of customers and will be able to attend to them in a more suitable environment.
