Maria's story

María is 41, married to Julio, and together they have two children: Roy, 20, and Jacqueline,10, to whom they dedicate the fruit of their efforts. She has a home built of quality materials, as a result of many years of work.

Her path in life has been running a grocery store from a very young age, since at that time she did not have a great deal of competition in the area. With the aim of improving her income, she decided to sell household articles such as dishes, glasses, pots and other items.

She has been running her business for five years, and in that time has managed to build it up and provide the necessary support for her family. Currently she sells her products to the districts adjoining the city. She considers her work a bit exhausting, but at the same time quite energizing, as she has managed to get to know all kinds of people and make herself very well known through the sale of her items.

Her long-term goal is to open a large store in the same business line, as she knows her customers' needs. On this occasion she needs to have 3000 nuevos soles so that she can buy more merchandise, such as glasses, cutlery, trays and other kitchen utensils.
