Lidia Del Carmen's story

Lidia lives in the city of Leon. She is 56 years old, the mother of three children, and a shop-keeper by trade. She makes a living by selling merchandise. She started in the business when she was very young to help her mother sell different merchandise such as imitation jewelry and cosmetics. It was from this that she acquired experience and a complete knowledge of the business. Later she decided to go independent and generate revenue by herself. Similarly her daughters, who help her to sell her merchandise, go out every day to sell in search of customers and selling in order to obtain daily revenue. She says she relies on other income such as the salary she earns as a language and literature teacher in a high school. Her hopes are to continue expanding her business in order to obtain better profits.

She needs financing in order to buy perfumes and silver jewelry such as bracelets, chains, armbands, rings, badges, etc. She thinks that this loan will help her to buy all the merchandise that she needs for her business. In her plans for the future is to be able to improve the infrastructure of her house. Her goal is to offer a variety of products for personal use and open a larger store of only varied merchandise. She is trying to obtain a better quality of life for her family.
