Ingrid Vanessa's story

Ingrid, who is 25-years old, lives with her husband and has three children. She lives in an area of the municipality Santa Cruz de Yojoa. Two years ago, she opened her own small grocery where she sells food products like basic grains, churros (a doughnut-like sweet), butter, flour, cleaning products, other grocery items and fish. With the loan she has requested of 13,000 lempiras ($675 USD), Ingrid is going to stock up on food stuffs and purchase some shelving that she needs to put out her products. Ingrid plans to keep working in her store and to provide a good example for her children.
