A loan of $800 helped to improve and maintain his land and to buy urea, liquid pesticide and insecticide.

Holger Rigoberto's story

Holger is 50 years old, is in a common law marriage with his wife and has five children. He lives in the city of Ventanas in the province of Los Ríos. He is a member of the “25 de Febrero” [February 25] Communal Bank, which is located in the Guabito precinct of the parish of Zapotal, in Ventanas Canton. He works in agriculture and grows corn, coffee and bananas. He also works raising animals such as cattle. Holger is requesting this loan to improve and maintain his land and to buy urea, liquid pesticide and insecticide. With the help of the loan he will be able to buy what he needs to have a good harvest. He buys his supplies in Ventanas every two weeks. His dream is to work very hard for his family’s wellbeing. The challenges he faces are the pests that harm his crops. In his free time he likes to play volleyball and enjoy the carnival.
