A loan of $1,400 helped to buy traditional fabrics, [sewing supplies], etc.

Débora's story

Debora lives in Lomé with her husband, who works in cargo transport, and their seven children, all of whom are in school. She is 40 years old and sells corn, traditional “pagnes” fabric and jewelry. She launched her business in 2002 and works out of her home and as a street vendor. In order to avoid running out of stock, she is seeking a third loan from WAGES to reinforce her stock. Thanks to the resulting revenues, she hopes to reinvest in her business and to help provide for family needs alongside her husband.
