A loan of $525 helped to pay for additional frozen and processed foods like hot dogs, ham, stuffed meat and other products for her business.

Arlene's story

This is Arlene. She previously accessed a 19,000 PHP loan that she used to buy more quantities and varieties of frozen and processed products to expand her product inventory. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her child and in their personal, household and business expenditures.

She would now like to apply for a 21,000 PHP loan to buy different processed and frozen foods like hotdogs, ham, stuffed meat and more. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to cover their daily needs and the educational expenses of her child. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Arlene dreams that her business will grow bigger and hopes that her child will finish his studies. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business every week, and this is where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital and repay microfinance loans.
