Thabu's Group's story

Thabu is a fifty-year-old dryland farmer and mother of six children. Her farming potential is limited by the lack of capital to buy seeds. Thabu is joining the KOMAZA microforesty program to earn money for her family, change the environment and prevent erosion on her land. She intends to use the profits from her tree farm to send her children to school and build a good house for her family.
