A loan of $4,700 helped a member to buy soft drinks, sweets and supplies.

Kuarahy Rese Group's story

The communal bank "Kuarahy Rese" is on its fifth loan cycle through the women's program. The members help each other mutually and, through their work, provide everything they can for their families.

Constancia, one of the members, has a small store where she sells everything such as soft drinks, sweets and other items. She works hard every day and says her goal is to have a large store some day so she can increase her income and help her family. She wants to grow as a person and as a small businesswoman.

She is requesting this loan to be able to continue keeping her store well-stocked since this is how she supports her family and gives them everything she can.

In this group: Constancia, Luciana, Norma, Dahiana, Vilma, Alicia, Lilian, Julia, Jeny, Alicia, Luciana, Rosana, Teresa, Carmen*, Zulma*
