A loan of $1,000 helped to buy shoes and handbags for resale.

Abdoulaye's story

Abdoulaye lives in Senegal. He has a family and has been involved in retail for more than 20 years. He specializes in the commerce of shoes, handbags and other various items for women. Thanks to his income, he is able to provide for his family and he particularly takes care of the day-to-day expenses.

Abdoulaye is a client of one of the branches of the UIMCEC, and he has already obtained a previous loan. He is now requesting a loan of 500,000 CFA francs to purchase some goods that he will resell. His goal is to boost his stock of merchandise in order to meet his customers' increasing demand. He also wants to strengten his financial resources and start selling stationery items (notebooks, books, pens ...).

A larger income will help Abdoulaye to take better care of his family's daily expenses and to improve their diet. In the future, he would like to open a shop and display his products.
