Fanny Dolores's story

The Junín Communal Bank meets every 15 days in the canton of Junín. This place is known for its friendly people. The best brandy in the province and all of Ecuador is distilled here.

Sra. Fanny lives in this place. She is 60 years old, married, and has a grown son who is independent. Her husband is a merchant.

Doña Fanny has a store in her home where she sells all types of products such as rice, sugar, oil, detergents, legumes, vegetables, and fruit. She works every day from 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. On the weekends, she and her husband sell meat at the fairs and also take advantage of this time to sell products from their store. Fanny has been in business for more than 20 years and her work enables her to make an honest living so that her household can move forward.

This loan will be used to buy more inventory for her store such as rice, sugar, oil, meat, and other basic necessities. Fanny has been with the Communal Bank for three years and enjoys the assistance she has received from the organization. Her dream is to continue moving forward as God allows.
