Gregoria Beladirna's story

The Junín Communal Bank meets every 15 days in the canton of Junín. This place is known for its friendly people. The best brandy in the province and all of Ecuador is distilled here.

Sra. Gregoria lives in this place. She is 46 years old and a single mother with a seven-year-old daughter who is in school. Gregoria lives at the home of her parents. She has been with the Communal Bank for four years and enjoys the assistance she has received so that she and her young daughter can move forward.

Doña Gregoria is a determined woman who works honorably day after day so that her daughter will lack nothing. She has a small shop in her parents’ house where she sells beverages such as water, sodas, and energy drinks. Gregoria also sells delicious ice cream that she prepares herself. Her customers like it so much that they come to her establishment on a daily basis. She works every day, but the weekends are much better because there are many people who come to the city for the fairs.

This loan will be used to buy water and sodas, as well as fruit, sugar, and milk for making ice cream. Her dream is to provide the best for her young daughter.
