A loan of $1,125 helped a member to increase their stock of dried fish to expand their businesses.


Tawopaneh Ll Group's story

Kadiatu F., the leader of Tawopaneh ll group, is 45 years of age and is married with three children. She has been selling fish for five years and only expanded her business after her previous loan from Kiva. She is very grateful to Kiva that the loan enabled her to build her own capital and to purchase the fish using cash. With the profit, she also paid her first child's school fees. All the group members are engaged in fish selling in Magburaka town in Sierra Leone, and they would like to continue expanding their businesses and building their capital. The group is therefore requesting a loan of $1,125 for that purpose.
