A loan of $500 helped to buy TV sets.

Mamadou's story

Mamadou is a 41-year-old married man and the father of three children. He lives with his wife and children in his own house in the "Hérémakono Nord" neighborhood of Bougouni.

Beside his job as a teacher, Mamadou is also involved in income-generating activities such as buying and selling TV sets and DVD players. He has more than five years of experience in this field and he manages his activity well.

In order to have a constant working capital, he has decided to join Soro Yiriwaso and he would like to buy three 14'' and two 21" TV sets. He stocks up in Bamako, the capital city of the republic of Mali, and resells his merchandise from home and in the various neighborhoods of Bougouni, following orders from his customers. He sells to both men and women.

Thanks to this loan, Mamadou is expecting to make a monthly profit of 45,000 CFA francs, which will allow him to improve his business and repay his loan's interest.
