A loan of $1,375 helped to purchase more cattle.

Roza's story

Roza is a 61-year-old widow. Her son and granddaughter live with her. For the last 15 years, Roza has been working in animal husbandry and growing crops, having started this business with a sum of 15,000 Kyrgyzstan Som (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, her farm now includes 4 head of cattle and 13 sheep, and the monthly income from the sale of milk, dairy products, and cattle is 10,000 Som. In addition, she also plants potatoes every year and grows grains on a 5.31 hectare plot of land. For the purpose of developing her business, Roza has approached Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 65,000 Som to purchase cattle for fattening and re-sale. She plans to use the income generated by this loan to further increase the number of domestic cattle she has.
