A loan of $1,500 helped buy wooden beams and corrugated sheet metal.

Pedro's story

Pedro is 26 years old and lives with his mother, Indalicia. Their house is located in the José Barbero neighborhood in the zone of Candua, 5 kilometers from the city of Monteagudo. His main job is loaning out his services as a construction worker. He works on all kinds of home construction jobs for the citizens of Monteagudo, including both the rural and the urban areas.

He is asking for this loan to buy wooden beams and corrugated sheet metal so he can build a roof for the house that they built on his mother's land. By so doing, they will be able to live in a more comfortable and tranquil place, since the house where they currently live is in bad condition (it floods when it rains and has other problems).

By building their roof, Pedro will be able to have a place to live and also rent out rooms, earning extra income to help cover their expenses, such as food and clothing, among other things.
