A loan of $600 helped to buy ingredients to cook.

Giulliana's story

28 year old Giuliana is a hardworking and determined young woman who is also cheerful and cordial. She is a single mother and has 4 children for whom she strives to work and succeed. They live together in her parents' house and her parents help her look after her children. Giulliana has a business selling regional food such as roast chicken, meat kebabs, and others. Every afternoon, she sets-up her table in front of her house and offers her cooked food for sale along with sodas. She looks after her customers very kindly and they are mostly her own neighbors. She began this business more than 5 years ago with the help of her parents. She says that she likes her business as she knows how to cook and that she decided to start this business because she needed her own income so she could cover her family's expenses. Now, seeing the good outcomes, she wants to grow the business and open a grocery store in her parents' house. This is her 5th loan from Kiva and she is know that she will keep having access to a line of credit to continue with her plans.
On this occasion, she is requesting $600 to buy ingredients such as rice, sugar, olives, and others to make her meals.
