A loan of $1,500 helped to buy three milk cows.

Abel Ulises's story

Abel is 56 years old, married, with five children. He is a farmer and also raises milk cows. His father taught him this trade when he was young. In spite of a weak leg, this does not stop him from working hard. He gets up at 4:30am in order to milk his cows along with his wife and children. Later he goes out with his wife to work on the 14,000 square meters of land that is planted in corn. Meanwhile, his children go to school.
This loan, which is being requested from the Countryside Foundation, will be used to buy three milk cows. This will give him a greater production of milk. He will have more milk to sell and will earn more income. This will allow him to build a proper house, as the house where his family lives is deteriorating. There are leaks and it is in bad condition.
