Oneyda Vanessa's story

Oneyda is a humble merchant who is 28 years old. She is an inhabitant of one of the most popular neighborhoods in the city of León. She is married and is the mother of three children who are 7, 5 and 4 years old, all of whom attend school. Previously she sold coffee and bread as a street vendor but the income was not sufficient and she looked for other forms of income where she could earn a little more and she decided to sell food. Her humble kitchen is made up of old stones, firewood and coal and that's where she begins to prepare her food to sell and to earn a living every day. Additionally, she sells cookies, juices and soft drinks. Little by little she is emerging with her business which she would like to convert into a food stall with better infrastructure conditions. One of her future plans is to have a house so that her children have a decent roof to live under as where they currently live is rented. She is in need of the loan to buy rice, beans, sugar, oil, chicken, meat, corrugated metal roofing and purlins in order to improve her humble food stall in addition to having the raw materials for work.
