A loan of $775 helped to paint her restaurant and upgrade its furniture.

Luisa's story

Luisa, 47, is a widow; she has a 14-year-old son who lives with her in an adobe house. Six years ago she managed to open a restaurant that has become the source of her family’s support. She comments that at the beginning she only had basic skills with respect to commercial cooking but she’s succeeded in enriching her knowledge to meet customer requirements. Because of this, her restaurant has become very popular with local agricultural and transportation workers. She enjoys her work because she feels good having such a large clientele.

She needs help from your financial institution in order to make some business improvements. Her long-term goal is to build her house and then equip it for her business so she can save on rental costs. On this occasion, she needs 2,000 new soles to proceed with painting her restaurant as well as with upgrading the tables and chairs.
