A loan of $400 helped to buy rice, sugar, canned goods, and other products.

Efrin's story

Efrin, 39, is married to Reina and they have two small children who live with them in a house they rent made of quality material.

Working exclusively in farming activities having to do with cacao and coffee production, he decided five years ago to open a grocery store business where Reina worked so he could give his family a better quality of life. He set up in a rented space and, thanks to their good service, they have managed to attract good customers and generate a good income. He likes his business a lot because it allows his wife to look after the children, who need all the necessary attention.

As is typical in this type of business, it's necessary to constantly stock merchandise, which is why he's going to his financial institution. He needs to have 1,000 nuevos soles [PEN] to buy sacks of rice, sugar, canned goods, grains, and soda, which are in high demand in his business.
