Maria Mercedes
María Mercedes is 54 years old. She is married, has a 16 year old son and is originally from Managua, in the central part of the region. María is a hard-working, responsible and respectable person. Unfortunately she could not study at university due to a lack of money. Every day she fights to provide her son with a better future and to give him better living conditions.

Thanks to her desire to move forward in life and her will to overcome problems, María has been making a living selling various items of clothing at the local market for 14 years. This work consists of selling clothes such as trousers, shorts, blouses, sports shirts, underwear, bedclothes and towels. She works around ten hours a day and she really enjoys it as it has been a way of supporting the family. The aim for this loan is to invest it in working capital and to stock up her business of buying and selling various clothes. The loan will hopefully soon result in a higher income. María is grateful for the help that Kive investors provide to people with few resources and to poor countries such as Nicaragua. The help allows people to have a decent job.

María Mercedes de 54 años de edad, casada con un hijo de 16 años, originaria de Managua, lugar que está ubicado en la zona central de la región. María se caracteriza por ser una persona trabajadora, responsable de buenas costumbres. Lamentablemente no pudo cursar una carrera universitaria por falta de recursos económicos. Ella lucha día a día para brindarle un futuro mejor a su hijo. Y darle mejores condiciones de vida.
Gracias a su espíritu de salir adelante y sus ganas de superación tiene por actividad económica la venta de ropa variada, desde hace 14 años, ubicado en el mercado de la localidad. Actividad que consisten en vender ropa variada como pantalones, short, blusas, camisolas, ropa interior, ropa de cama, toallas. Ella dedica unas 10 horas diarias a su actividad. Actividad que la disfruta mucho porque ha sido el sustento de su familia. El objetivo del crédito es invertir en capital de trabajo y surtir su negocio en la compra y venta de ropa variada, para que en un futuro no muy lejano pueda obtener mejores ingresos. María Mercedes agradece la ayuda que los inversionistas kiva les brindan a personas de escasos recursos y países pobre como es Nicaragua para tener un medio de trabajo digno.
