A loan of $1,250 helped to pay for fabric, cloth, thread and other materials needed in her business.

Marciana's story

This is Marciana. Her previous loan was a big help in her business. She was able to buy all the needed materials for her tailoring business. She was able to make more curtains, dresses, set covers and uniforms. She has been in this business for twenty years now. Aside from her dress shop, she also has a direct selling business and a burger stand. She is working hard to provide income for their everyday expenses.

She would like to apply for another 50,000 PHP loan to buy fabric, cloth, thread and other materials needed in her business. She will also use the loan in buying different merchandise products for her direct selling business. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Marciana dreams of continuous success of her business. She meets up every week with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from the study of the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
