Alice's Group's story

Alice is a fifty-year-old mother of seven. She weaves coconut leaves for roofing material and sells coconuts to earn income. Her husband is a retired teacher. Alice's business faces the challenges of low demand and a poor market in the local community.

Alice's favorite part of joining the microforestry program is that "KOMAZA is giving us the knowledge of planting trees." With the profits from her tree farm, she plans to buy a plot and build rental houses.

In this group: Alice, Mnoynge, Kevin, Josephin, Kwekwe, Chishenga
