A loan of $975 helped to buy soft drinks and snacks.

Sheily's story

Sheily, 45, is married to German, who is a teacher and the father of her 17-year-old daughter. She lives in her own home with her family and her mother-in-law.

Sheily makes a living selling soft drinks in a variety of flavors. She has a large freezer which she bought with the support of her husband's father, where she keeps her drinks very cold for her clients. She also sells various types and brands of snacks. By serving her clients in a very friendly manner, she earns their preference. She has worked in this business for four years, and she has had the support of her daughter to this day.

She had some urgent financial issues in terms of their home expenses, so she decided to open a new business to generate an income. This allows her to feel busy because she has an occupation.

She plans to continue with her business and to make it grow so that in the future she can open a grocery store. This is her third loan with Kiva, and she is grateful for this collaboration in order to continue with her goals. With the requested amount of 2500 Peruvian soles, she will buy soft drinks in a variety of colors and brands and snacks, both in large quantities. Her business will then be well-stocked and ready for sales, with which she hopes to satisfy her clients.
