A loan of $1,000 helped to sow yucca.

Juan Carlos's story

Juan is 19 years old and single. He works in agriculture and grows various vegetables such as potatoes, yucca and corn. He grows them in his plot of land which is located in the community of Villa Esperanza. Juan learned this line of work from his father, who's also a farmer and helps him to sow. Thus, Juan has been a farmer ever since he was a child. This is his first loan with this institution. Juan will use this loan to sow yucca, which involves preparing the land. The reason why he requests this loan is to obtain resources in order to sow and support himself. He'll use his profits to improve his living conditions. Juan is a responsible and hardworking young person. He's thankful to the institution for the support he's gotten, since this business is his only means of livelihood.
