Safeena's Group's story

Safeena is a 43-year-old, hard-working, woman. She lives in Pakistan with her husband and eight children. Her husband owns a hotel. His income is not sufficient to meet the family's needs, so she is trying to help him cover their needs by sewing clothes. She is a tailor. She will extend her business in the future if she gets good profits. Safeena is a member of a three-person group, and she has applied for a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan to grow her business by purchasing a new tailoring machine. She hopes, with the help of the loan, to increase her net income and be able to save for their future. She dreams of giving her children a quality education. She is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
