A loan of $625 helped to purchase clothing to resell.

Eka's story

Eka is a 35-year-old woman from a small village of Terjola district. She is married and lives with her husband, her 9-year-old daughter, her 11-year-old son, and her mother-in-law. Her mother-in-law receives a retirement pension. Her husband works as an artisan and earns a monthly income. The family is involved in agricultural activities. They have two milk cows which Eka milks and uses to produce cheese products to sell at local markets. Besides this they have a vineyard with 1000 samples of wine trees and a hectare of agricultural land. They harvest grapes and produce wine and Georgian Vodka to sell at a good price.

Eka has requested a loan so that she can start trading in clothing. She plans to purchase clothing from wholesalers and resell them with a price markup. This will increase the family's income which will enable them to improve their living conditions. She awaits your support.
