There are three members in Sreyneang’s group. She is a third-cycle client with VisionFund. She repaid the past loans, which have help her to relieve her family’s financial burdens and improve their livelihood. Now, Sreyneang is leading her group to apply for a new loan. She will use her portion of the loan to pay labor costs, for help in collecting her cassava. She hopes to increase her family’s income from her current business, so as to make a better living and keep her son in school.

VisionFund Cambodia is a Christian organization and microfinance institution that provides small loans and other financial services to improve the lives of children, empower poor women and their families, and grow successful businesses. The organization works primarily in rural parts of Cambodia and has distinguished itself by targeting the very poor who require smaller loan sizes, regardless of religious beliefs, gender or ethnic background.
